Movember - Giant Moustache
We were contacted by Movember with quite a challenge. They wanted to make a big impact for charity Movember something that would work across an international stage. They approached us with the idea of an intervention at the Cliffs of Moher.
We surveyed the options and found a good location for projection. We did a test with a Clay paky Alpha Profile 1500 and the results were impressive. So we had a custom Gobo made up of a graphic Moustache. We loaded a van with generator , lighting console cables and fixture and the team set off for the Cliffs.
Our first approach was at early morning we headed there at 4 a.m. to catch the morning light. We got a shot but decided for the perfect shot to come back in the evening.
The beautiful shot by surf photographer David Olsthoorn went on to reach national and international press attention and succeeded in promoting the Charity's important cause.

Pixel Mapping - Beckett Bridge
We regularly collaborate with others like Eventco, this makes us stronger as collaboration challenges our practice and opens our minds to learning from other views and perspectives.
The challenge was to create a light canvas in the heart of the city that could be dynamic and change.
Tom called on our pixel mapping and media server experience and we helped pixel map and spec the server for the installation. We created a remotely accessible solution for the bridge where content can be crossloaded and even tested on a visualiser before going live.
The bridge has been a huge success as an ambient communication tool in an Urban Environment.
Since then ,the team at Movember got in touch with us and with Tom as they wanted to do a Movember based activation in the bridge. They put us in touch with Artist Maser who we collaborated with to get his artwork on the bridge. Maser usually works in paint / urban graffiti style so we helped bridge the gap between pixels and canvas and helped guide the process of realising his Artwork.
We used previsualisation techniques to test the graphics and give feedback of how to enhance the impact and the best size and colour to use.In collaboration we grow!
